Ontario PNP Transitions Employer Job Offer Streams to Employer‑Led Portal

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is transitioning its Employer Job Offer streams to an employer-led online portal launching July 2, 2025. As a result, foreign nationals can no longer submit EOIs independently beginning June 20.

⏳ Key Intake Timeline

  • June 20 – July 2: No new EOIs accepted.
  • June 21–22: All existing EOIs automatically withdrawn.
  • June 27–29: OINP system down for updates.
  • July 2: Employer Portal opens for positions and EOI re-registration.

🏢 Employer‑Led Process

Instead of candidates initiating EOIs, employers must now submit job details through the new portal. Only then can applicants register EOIs—valid for 12 months and eligible for future draws.

🎯 Affected Streams

  • Foreign Worker stream
  • International Student stream
  • In‑Demand Skills stream

🔄 What This Means for Applicants

  • If you submitted an EOI before June 20, expect it to be withdrawn.
  • You’ll need to work with your employer to re-submit once the portal opens.
  • New EOIs post-July 2 are valid for 12 months in future draws.

🛠 Additional Updates

  • OINP may conduct in-person interviews with applicants.
  • Fraud monitoring tools will be enhanced for job postings.
  • Employer access to candidate information will be reviewed for privacy compliance.
