What is BC PNP - EXPRESS ENTRY?
The BC-PNP Express entry is one of the provincial nominee program of British Columbia. It is connected with federal Express Entry system, and is a faster way for eligible skilled workers to gain permanent residence in B.C. This program has further following Categories:
EEBC - Skilled Worker
To qualify under this stream applicant must first accept a valid job offer from a B.C. employer. Applicant is also required to have requisite training and experience for the stream.
EEBC -Healthcare Professional
EEBC - healthcare stream helps physicians, specialists, nurses and allied health professionals to work in British Columbia province and get permanent residence.
EEBC - International Graduate
It is for those applicants who have a valid qualification from an eligible Canadian university or college within the last three years.
EEBC - International Post-Graduate
It is specifically for those applicants who have a post-graduate B.C. degree in natural, applied or health sciences in last three years.
EEBC - Skilled Worker
Applicant requirement
To qualify for EEBC – Skilled Worker stream, one must have the following:
- An Express Entry Profile Number and a Job Seeker Validation Code from the IRCC Express Entry system.
- Candidate must have accepted a full-time, permanent Skill Type 0 or Skill Level A or B NOC job with no set end date, from an employer in British Columbia.
- Must qualify to work in job in B.C.
- Must have at least two (2) years of directly related work experience.
- Have sufficient funds to shows support for self and dependents.
- Have, or be eligible for, legal immigration status in Canada.
- Meet the minimum language requirements for the relevant federal category and provide results from an agency designated by IRCC.
- have a wage offer in line with B.C. wage rates for the occupation.
Employer Requirement
Employer must support the application and the employer must:
- Be in good standing in B.C.
- Provide a written job offer having a full-time, permanent Skill Type 0 or Skill Level A or B NOC job with no set end date.
- Have a history of good workplace and business practices
- Sign an employer declaration and complete employer section in application.
- Meet domestic labour market recruitment requirements, where applicable
- Offer you a wage in line with industry standards
- Shall notify BC PNP if there are changes in applicant’s employment status.
EEBC -Healthcare Professional
Applicant requirement
To qualify for EEBC – Healthcare Professional stream, one must have the following:
- An Express Entry Profile Number and a Job Seeker Validation Code from the IRCC Express Entry system.
- Candidate must have support of, or a full-time permanent job offer with no set end date from a public health authority as a:
- physician
- specialist
- registered nurse
- registered psychiatric nurse
- nurse practitioner
- allied health professional such as a:
- diagnostic medical sonographer
- clinical pharmacist
- medical laboratory technologist
- medical radiation technologist
- occupational therapist
- physiotherapist
- If applicant is a midwife, then he/she must have a letter of confirmation from an established practice group in B.C.
- Must qualify to work in job in B.C.
- Must have at least two (2) years of directly related work experience.
- Have sufficient funds to shows support for self and dependents.
- Have, or be eligible for, legal immigration status in Canada.
- Meet the minimum language requirements for the relevant federal category and provide results from an agency designated by IRCC.

To qualify for EEBC – International Graduate stream, one must have valid qualification from an eligible Canadian university or college within the last three years and must also have the following:
- An Express Entry Profile Number and a Job Seeker Validation Code from the IRCC Express Entry system.
- Candidate must have accepted a full-time permanent job offer with no set end date from a B.C. employer in Skill Type 0 or Skill Level A or B of NOC.
- Must qualify to work in job in B.C.
- have completed a degree, diploma or certificate from an eligible post-secondary institution in Canada in the past three years
- Have sufficient funds to shows support for self and dependents.
- Have, or be eligible for, legal immigration status in Canada.
- Meet the minimum language requirements for the relevant federal category and provide results from an agency designated by IRCC.
- have a wage offer in line with B.C. wage rates for the occupation.
Employer Requirement
Employer must support the application and the employer must:

Applicant Requirement
To qualify for EEBC – International Post-Graduate stream one must have graduated from a B.C. institution in the last three years with a master’s or doctorate (PhD) degree in the natural, applied or health sciences:
- agriculture
- biological and biomedical sciences
- computer and information sciences and support services
- engineering
- engineering technology
- health professions and related clinical sciences
- mathematics and statistics
- natural resources conservation and research
- physical sciences
