Understanding the Labour Impact Category
The Labour Impact Category is designed for foreign nationals with a valid job offer in PEI and includes three streams:

Eligibility criteria include:
- Age between 21 and 59
- Sufficient settlement funds
- Minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) score of 4
- Full-time, permanent job offer from an eligible PEI employer
Candidates must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to be considered. Receiving an ITA allows candidates to apply for nomination, which, if granted, adds 600 points to their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score in the federal Express Entry system, significantly enhancing their chances for permanent residency.
