Overview
Sudbury has officially released its 2025 list of designated employers under both the Rural and Francophone Community Immigration Pilots (RCIP and FCIP). These programs provide pathways to permanent residence for skilled workers with job offers from employers in Sudbury’s priority sectors.

Eligibility Requirements
- Full-time job offer from a designated Sudbury employer
- 1 year of work experience in a related occupation OR recent graduate exemption
- Language test results: CLB 5 for RCIP; NCLC 5 for FCIP (French)
- Recommendation letter from the City of Greater Sudbury
Work Permit and PR Process
With a recommendation, applicants may apply for an LMIA-exempt work permit and permanent residence through IRCC. Processing times are generally faster than regular PR streams because of community involvement and job market alignment.

- July 14–18, 2025
- August 11–15, 2025
- August 29–September 5, 2025 (RCIP only)
- October and November windows to be announced
