613 Express Entry Candidates Invited

In a new draw held on November 24, 613 Express Entry candidates were invited from Express Entry Pool to apply for permanent residence. The draw which happened on November 24, was a PNP draw. In the above draw Candidates who previously had a nomination from a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) were selected. Minimum cut-off score for the above draw was 737. In the past months, this is the sixth PNP-specific Express Entry draw which has happened in a row. For record purposes in year 2021, IRCC has had held 33 PNP-specific draws and 27 CEC-specific draws. Many FSW candidates have been eagerly waiting for an All program Express Entry draw to happen, but the same has still eluded the applicants. Also, from January 2022, only those people are allowed to enter Canada who are vaccinated from the approved list of vaccines. Now, talking about difference between Canada Experience Class (CEC) & Federal Skilled Worker Stream (FSW). CEC stream is for those applicants who already have work experience in Canada and are now planning to get settled in Canada. Like Federal Skilled Worker class, it is also also one of the fasted routes to Canadian permanent residence. The following eligibility criteria applies while selecting applicants who apply under Canadian Experience Class:

Federal Skilled Worker Program

Federal Skilled worker is one of the program under Express Entry System, which allows skilled people to immigrate to Canada. It is also many-a-times referred as golden pathway to Canada, as majority of immigrants settle in Canada through this category of program. This program like other two express entry program uses CRS i.e. Comprehensive Ranking System to rank Candidates. Canada Experience Class Stream

Canada Experience Class (CEC) stream is for those applicants who already have worked in Canada and are now planning to get settled in Canada. Like Federal Skilled Worker class, it is also also one of the fasted routes to Canadian permanent residence. The following eligibility criteria applies while selecting applicants who apply under Canadian Experience Class:
  • 12-months of full-time work experience (or an equivalent amount of part-time)within the 36 months immediately preceding the date of application, in an occupation categorized as Skill Type 0 or Skill Level A or B of the National Occupation Classification (NOC).
  • The above work experience shall be obtained while having a valid, legal status and authorization in Canada.
  • Any work experience gained while self-employed or during studies shall not be considered.
  • For NOC Skill Type 0 or Skill Level A, an applicant must meet Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 in English or French.
  • For NOC Skill Type B, an applicant must meet Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 5 in English or French.
